CFA North Atlantic Region Household Pets

In 2006, CFA's North Atlantic Region agreed to allow Household Pets to be scored. Over 30 shows and over 100 cats were scored in the region.

We are using the same scoring system as CFA's pedigree cats and are scoring cats in up to 100 rings.

My name is Diane Bove and I am very proud to be your scorer. I have showing HHP for 3 years when I asked our Regional Director Debbie Kusy if HHP could be scored. The region agreed with great response and the 2006-2007 scored were gathered.

The cats were honored at the Regional Banquet on June 2, 2007 with their rosettes being donated by the Seacoast Cat Club.

In the 2007-2008 show season the Top 10 cats were awarded rosettes and certificates with their photos at the annual banquet. Cats 11-25 were awarded certificates. In 2007-2008 the Garden State Cat Club sponsored the rosettes for the Top 10.

Since CFA doesn't keep track of the HHP scores, I depend on the clubs and exhibitors to give me the scores. This year ALL regions of CFA are scoring HHP and hopefully in the near future they can be recognized at the National level.
